1.Core Information

　　The department is the Vice-Chairman Unit of the Medical Aesthetics Professional Committee of Shenzhen Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, a core department of medical aesthetics in the hospital, and has the advantages of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine characteristics and refined services in regional medical aesthetics diagnosis and treatment. The department has a professional medical team of 8 members, including 1 Consultant, 3 Attending Physicians, 3 Specialized Nurses and 1 Medical Assistant. The team boasts an excellent educational background with 2 PhDs, 2 Masters and 3 Bachelors. Key team members have visited and studied at the NYU Langone Medical Center, thus aligning with cutting-edge international medical aesthetic concepts and technologies.

　　2.Clinical Services

　　We perform precise laser diagnosis and treatment for vascular, pigmented skin diseases and scar problems, including specialized treatments for port-wine stain, nevus of Ota, atrophic acne scars, etc., and also offer classic services such as laser hair removal, tattoo removal and laser skin rejuvenation. We provide injectable aesthetic treatments such as botulinum toxin injection and mesotherapy injection (Hydrating Light Needle), as well as refined aesthetic care including basic hydration, whitening and rejuvenation to achieve facial rejuvenation and skin beautification. We apply photodynamic therapy for precise treatment of severe acne, use it for skin anti-aging management, and can also perform collaborative treatment of facial skin tumors in combination with surgery. For androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata and other hair loss conditions, we provide personalized treatments such as laser hair growth and microneedle hair restoration, along with refined scalp aesthetic care; in the future, we will collaborate with BGI Genomics and the Biomedical Therapy Center to launch IIT projects on exosome therapy for hair loss. We perform refined facial plastic surgeries such as blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty, as well as precise cosmetic suturing for skin tumor resection and superficial wound repair after trauma. We integrate cutting-edge technologies such as Ultrasonic Cannon, Gold Microneedle and laser skin rejuvenation to customize comprehensive facial rejuvenation plans for beauty seekers.

　　The department has built a characteristic diagnosis and treatment system of "integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and multi-technology collaboration". While specializing in modern medical aesthetic technologies, it gives full play to the advantages of characteristic TCM external therapies, focusing on four core fields: refined skin care, diagnosis and treatment of facial disfiguring diseases, skin anti-aging, and refined plastic surgery. For three high-incidence disfiguring diseases—rosacea, acne and chloasma, we adopt a multi-technology combined approach integrating laser, chemical peeling and TCM external therapies, achieving remarkable clinical efficacy, realizing the dual goals of disease treatment and long-term skin aesthetic care, and comprehensively solving various skin aesthetic problems.

　　The department is equipped with advanced and comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including high-end optoelectronic equipment such as UltraPulse fractional laser, picosecond laser, super-pulsed CO₂ laser, M22 photon therapy device and long-pulse 1064nm dual-wavelength laser, as well as core anti-aging equipment such as Ultrasonic Cannon and Gold Microneedle. These high-end devices provide solid hardware support for various medical aesthetic treatments, fully meeting the personalized and refined needs of different beauty seekers and ensuring treatment efficacy and safety from the hardware level.

All team members have extensive clinical experience in medical aesthetics and can tailor exclusive treatment plans according to the facial features, skin type and aesthetic needs of each patient, creating natural and harmonious medical aesthetic results that match personal temperament through standardized and minimally invasive techniques. Meanwhile, the department actively carries out multiple IIT projects and will collaborate deeply with BGI Genomics and the Biomedical Therapy Center to develop IIT projects in cutting-edge fields such as exosome therapy for rosacea and hair loss, continuously promoting the innovation and translation of medical aesthetic treatment technologies.

　　The department attaches great importance to talent training and academic exchanges, actively undertakes clinical teaching tasks related to medical aesthetics in the hospital and the region to cultivate professional medical aesthetic talents for medical institutions at all levels, and regularly organizes team members to participate in high-end academic conferences and technical training in the domestic and international medical aesthetics field, timely grasping cutting-edge technologies and development trends of the global medical aesthetics industry and continuously improving the team's professional diagnosis and treatment capabilities and innovation ability. In scientific research, the department focuses on core issues in clinical medical aesthetics and conducts a series of studies on the integrated TCM and Western medicine treatment of disfiguring skin diseases, comprehensive skin anti-aging technologies, and innovative minimally invasive medical aesthetic techniques. In the past 5 years, the department has participated in 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and previously presided over 6 provincial-level projects. Team members have published over 20 papers in domestic core journals and multiple SCI papers as first authors or corresponding authors. Meanwhile, the department actively carries out clinical technological innovations and multiple Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs), deeply integrating research results with clinical practice, continuously optimizing treatment plans, improving the clinical efficacy and safety of various medical aesthetic procedures, and promoting the sustained innovation and development of the department's medical aesthetic technologies.
