The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is a clinical department in our hospital, encompassing both the Anesthesiology division and the operating suites. It serves as the core platform supporting anesthesia for all surgical departments, emergency resuscitation for critically ill patients, perioperative management of acute and chronic pain, and ambulatory care & sedation services. The department is positioned as a platform discipline dedicated to developing both regional leadership (particularly in subspecialties such as transplant anesthesia and anesthesia for infectious diseases) and robust clinical service capabilities. It aims to become a Shenzhen Municipal Key Clinical Discipline and a National Standardized Residency Training Base. The department currently consists of 87 medical staff, including 31 anesthesiologists, 9 anesthesia nurses, and 47 operating room nurses. Among them, 15 hold senior professional titles (e.g., Consultant/Professor, Associate Consultant/Associate Professor). A mature and standardized management system has been established to ensure high-quality operations.

Pain Management Clinic & Ambulatory Care: The department operates a dedicated Pain Management Clinic and offers anesthesia services outside the operating rooms(e.g., for painless gastrointestinal endoscopy, bronchoscopy, abortion procedures, interventional therapies), striving to build a "Pain-Free Hospital".
Acute and Chronic Pain Management: Maintaining a dedicated pain management clinic and inpatient wards, specializing in the treatment of perioperative pain and various chronic pain conditions.
Critical Care Resuscitation and Perioperative Management: Participating in the resuscitation and consultation for critically ill patients hospital-wide, offering professional perioperative life support and monitoring.
